One might say that an elegant chess table will never compliment the simple beauty of the game itself. In contrast to that idea we have designed for you: The Anastasia chess table. However fruitless the effort of complimenting the beauty of the game may be, we have mastered the art of complimenting almost any interior with the Anastasia, a chess table worthy of your superior taste and satisfaction.

The Anastasias’ frame is constructed with Cedar wood and coated with an exquisite Red Mahogany/Cherry finish. The Cedar is then dry-kilned till precisely the appropriate moment as such to ensure absolutely no cracks or expansions on the wood, thus prolonging the chess table’s life. The chessboard is extraordinarily finished with the utmost care. We spared no expense as we prepared the playing board with veneers exemplifying the finest of woods. The lighter squares are made with birds eye maple native to North America. The darker squares exhibit striking Rosewood imported from South America. In addition, a magnificent 1/8” strip composed of a collaboration of woods surrounds the chessboard. The Anastasia is also equipped with two drawers lined with felt, as such to safely preserve your chess pieces. The curvilinear legs of the table accentuate the Anastasia’s delicate presence. The Anastasias’ legs are carved and accentuated by hand (One can see the hand carved accents by viewing the larger scale picture). The splendor of the Anastasia is allowed for by its details. Another distinctive feature on the Anastasia is the “Screw” method used in accentuating the border of the upper portion of the chess table. Not forgetting comfort and convenience we have also added cup holders, which easily slide in and out of place. The Anastasia is given a unique dimension with a sleek Cedar platform at lower leg level. This platform serves a visual and constructive purpose, adding to the table’s character, and solidifying its stance. Unique to Riley Chess the Anastasia Chess Table design, can be found nowhere else.

Table weights 60 pounds and measures 33”W x 33”L x 29”H. Squares are 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Shipping is an additional $80 for the table alone and $130 for the table and chairs.
