We agree with what you thought when you first viewed this glorious chess table - it is splendid. The Salmonica partly attributes its distinction to its Burl appearance. This chess table’s unique overlay is made with a Mahogany Crotch for the dark squares and Birds Eye maple for the lighter ones. With detail in mind, we outlined the chessboard surface with a 1/8” strip made with a collaboration of woods. Tediously finished and carefully dried, this durable chess table is sure to compliment the elegance of your interior so long as you should allow it to. This table’s hand-accented legs (featuring a beautiful and unique “Screw Style” construction) slide in using dovetail construction. The inverted and rounded table corners add for another unique visual aspect. The Salmonica comes equipped with convenient cup holders and two felted drawers for chess pieces. All hardware is Brass. Warning: This brilliant Chess table may draw attention from the game.
